Terms and Conditions Booking Archives
Terms and conditions shall be read, understood, and agreed upon before submitting a request for the reservation of public archives in accordance with the National Archives Act 2003 (Act 629) and the Regulations of the Research Council that have been established:“Reservation” means:
1) Request for the loan of current public archives at the research council.
2) Request for the loan of public archives before attending the research council.
“Reserve” means temporary archival service.
- Terms of Reservation of Public Archives at the Research Council:
- Reservations are allowed only for registered users.
- Reservations made within the research council are limited to only 10 units of public archives at a time.
- Manual reservations are limited to only 5 units of public archives at a time.
- Public archives still needed for reference can be temporarily reserved for 3 working days from the date of application.
- Terms of Online Reservation of Public Archives:
- Reservations for public archives are only permitted for registered researchers.
- Only 3 units of public archives (not digitized) can be requested at a time.
- Documents that have not been digitized can be reserved for 3 working days before attending the Research Council.
- Audio and video materials that have not been digitized can be reserved for 5 working days before attending the PPPAV Research Council.
- Film materials that have not been digitized can be reserved for 14 working days before attending the Research Council.
- Cancellation:
- Reservations can be canceled by registered researchers within 24 hours after the reservation.
- Reservations will be canceled if registered researchers do not attend on the scheduled date.
